To ensure quality linen service, a monthly linen culture report is issued to Midwest Texas Healthcare Linen Service. U.N.X., a global leader in hygiene solutions, tests the linen at our facility and sends it to an independent lab for a culture. Hygienically clean linen is indicated by 50 microorganisms or less. Midwest Texas Healthcare Linen Service averages more than 10 microorganisms per square inch, far exceeding the standard limit.
A quarterly Test Piece Service guarantees our linen exceeds your standards. A test piece swatch of specially woven fabric is laundered 20 times with the wash classification being studied. That piece is sent to the National Association of Institutional Laundry Managers (NAILM) to test for whiteness retention, tensile strength and chlorine bleach carry-over. Midwest Texas Healthcare Linen Service continues to exceed standards for both tests proving our commitment to excellence.
